The Dress

I just adored my dress and didn’t want to take it off when I first tried it on! I knew I wanted a sweetheart neckline but then loved the additional lace with beading and sequin details which really caught the light and looked great in the evening pictures! The satin skirt is so flattering and simple but the button-detailing down the back and lace at the top meant I loved all the photos taken from behind as well as those taken from the front! It has a train but you can shorten this with hidden ties when you want to dance. My photographer took some fab photos in fields which meant the lining of the dress got some mud on it at the bottom- I’ve had the dress professionally cleaned and it looks brand-new but if you were looking for them, you could still see where it had mud on the underskirts. (I’ve taken this into account when setting the price.)

I absolutely love my dress but would also love to see it have another special day with someone else and as we are about to buy our first house together it seems like the time to sell it. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!

Alterations

It was originally a size 14 but has been altered to fit me (size 12) but my seamstress said it could be let back out or altered to fit a size 14 again if needed.
