The Dress

This much loved dress was custom made to my measurements (approximate measurements are above) by a skilled Australian seamstress based on a dress by designer Augusta Jones. I'm usually a size 10 with a size 10E bust, and the dress has padding at the bust so you don't need to wear a bra/ other support. It is snug around the hips and thighs to show off your shape and then falls to the floor. It has a slight train (less than a metre - see photo) which is a great addition that looks good in photos, and can be hooked up at the back to dance the night away! The sheer lace over the shoulders and back was my favourite part of the gown, and adds a unique enhancement to an otherwise simple but stunning lace dress.

I love this dress and don't want to see it go, but it is taking up space and I feel that it needs to be shown off and enjoyed by another bride rather than hidden away in my wardrobe. I paid $1,500 to have it custom made, but am willing to let it go for half price as I am aware the purchaser may have to have it altered to fit their shape. Price is also negotiable.
