The Dress

Per website: "Illusion mesh sleeves strike a lovely balance between covered and bare, particularly when paired with a flattering, wide-set V-neck and low back. The A-line tulle skirt adds a softly voluminous finish."

This is a head-turner of a dress! Other people were taking photos of me in it when I tried it on at David's Bridal- it is very reminiscent of Kate Middleton's wedding dress. This would have been perfect for our September 2020 Botanical Garden wedding, but we had to cancel due to COVID-19. We got married in a small private ceremony (with me in a different, modern short dress) in August 2020, and I ended up never even altering this gown.

Without heels, I am 5'3 (160 cm). I was approximately 110 lbs (50 kg) when the photos here were taken. As you can see from the pictures, I would have had to hem the skirt by a few inches, taken the sleeves in a bit (they were a little long, but could have also worked as-is), and added cups to the bust. I do not have very broad shoulders, so I would have taken the sleeves in at the top as well to have the dress fit better.

Outside of trying the dress on at the store and twice at home, this dress has never been worn outside. This size 0 dress was never altered.
