The Dress
Leonard's design was based on the photo above. The model is about a size 8 but he designed it to fit my more curvy size 14 and it was so slimming. It hid my little belly. Didn't need to wear Spanx!
The hand-beaded gown was elegant but not at the sacrifice of comfort.
The detachable ankle-length train looked lovely for the ceremony but was easily removed later for the dancing.
The dress, which is in perfect condition, has an ivory silk organza full length skirt with an underskirt of duchesse satin. It has scattered crystal beads and pearls hand-sewn into the bodice of French silk lace which also features on the cap sleeves. A pair of mid-heel court shoes, size 7.5, covered in the same silk organza, are also for sale for $50, if needed.
