The Dress

Clara is artfully crafted from multiple laces which contrast and compliment each other in true bohemian fashion. Designed to sculpt your waist without feeling tight or restrictive this bustier gown also has boned cups, offering plenty of shape and support. The bodice features elongating silk panels to offer relief, and nude mesh underlay to emphasize the intricate detail of laces. Draping from the hip, curved placement panels create a full textured skirt and train.

The first 3 photos are model photos from the Rue de Seine website, the last several photos are of me wearing the dress. I really loved how this dress made me look & feel. The bodice holds you in without looking stiff and the length of the dress drapes beautifully from the hips down. Honestly, I felt like this dress could work for so many different kinds of venues.

Alterations

The inner silk layer was hemmed (I'm 5'5" and wore 4" heels). The outer lace layer was folded under and sewn at the hem to take a little length off but wasn't removed and can easily be let back out. There is a hook for a bustle as well as a wrist loop. The lace fringe along the neckline/cups was sewn down to keep them from sticking out and the lace belt was attached at the waist. The arm bands are also included.
