The Dress

Sophie et Voila Balian dress, designed and made in Spain. Architectural detail on medium weighted crepe. Beaded floral details over illusion mesh top. This was to be my reception dress, but due to COVID, my wedding has been indefinitely postponed. It's an AWESOME dress - definitely a different look than most dresses. Extremely comfortable and flattering. Ready for the dance floor.

I purchased the dress at Loho Loft in San Francisco. The dress was worn once before I purchased it and is a size 40. I'm unclear if the dress was altered, but I would assume it was as most used bridal dresses are :) I never had it altered after purchasing, but did have it professionally cleaned in December 2019 at Elegance Preserved in San Francisco. Happy to email the receipt!

The dress cleaned up extremely well - the body of the dress looks brand new. The sheer portion of the dress is still a bit bronze in color from makeup that didn't come out of the sheer overlay, but isn't noticeable against your skin. I tried to include as many close-up photos of the sheer portion of the dress, but let me know if you'd like more and I can email them.
