The Dress

I absolutely loved my dress! It is so unique and one of the most comfortable dresses I've ever worn. The slip underneath is a silk/spandex blend that was so soft and very breathable (which was important given that my wedding happened in quite hot weather) and helped the dress hug my curves without making me feel like I was being squeezed. The dress was only worn once and has been professionally dry-cleaned. There was some damage to small lace detail on the hem in front but it was repaired by a seamstress and now I can't tell where the damage was. There is a dancing hoop (a small silk loop) attached to the underside of the back of the train. I also had a French bustle added which looks very cute when bustled and did a great job of keeping the train out of the way during the reception. The armbands with tassles are included and were so much fun! They would give a little shake every time I moved my arms.

Alterations

The dress was shorted to fit me when wearing my boots (5'9") and a French bustle was added.
