I bought this dress used at a consignment shop and then never wore it! It was a sample dress, so it has a couple of flaws shown in the pictures. The one strap needs to be sewn back together and there is a small tear on the side of the tulle. It isn't very noticeable if you decided to leave it or it's an easy fix. I was not worried about the tear on the strap because I would have needed it to be taken up a bit there. The detail is beautiful and has a 20's feel to it. Very light and comfortable! It is 2 layers. Under is a comfy slip dress, then you have the tulle overlay that zips up the side.
