The Dress

I purchased this Maggie Sottero gown on May 18 2019 from a high-end design sample and consignment dress store called Emerald City Gowns in Berkeley, CA. The dress was a designer sample (never altered, to my knowledge), but unfortunately, my wedding was cancelled (for reasons unrelated to COVID, mostly family drama, and we'll be happily eloping). I never wore the dress, and it's been sitting in my closet in its garment bag untouched for a year now.

This dress is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, but it unfortunately no longer fits me! It hugs the body in the most elegant way, and the built-in corset has enough structure to give me a flat stomach. It's also really flattering to the butt (imo). It has really stunning beading, rhinestone, and lace details, along with a sweetheart neckline that is just modest enough that you aren't spilling out but you have a little bit of elegant cleavage. I have to say this dress is SO flattering.

I can't for the life of me find this exact dress online, as there is no tag inside the dress, but looking at the collections online, I'd say it's closets to the "Erin" style by Maggie Sottero.

There are lovely buttons down the back, but it's easy to get in and out of because there is a hidden zipper. I'm so hoping someone will be able to wear this stunning gown for their wedding day!!
