The Dress

Beautiful vintage Oscar De La Renta short wedding dress. This dress has the feel of a full ball gown (a beautifully swishy skirt that makes you feel like a princess) with the practicality and understated nature of a short dress.

The skirt has an under skirt to give shape to the dress and under the lace overlay is layers and layers of tulle.

It has a sweetheart neckline and a low scooping back.

The dress hasn’t yet been dry cleaned, as I thought the new owner may want to do that themselves. Upon very close examination some of the thread around some of the lace is starting to come loose, but you couldn’t tell from any reasonable distance and it certainly doesn’t take away from the effect of the large lace flowers.

A really beautiful and unusual dress that made me feel like a princess and is an amazing option if you don’t fancy a full length gown! Will send with the original Oscar De La Renta dress carrier.

Alterations

Professional seamstress adjusted the dress to fit my shape for the wedding. Original tag and corset in place.
