The Dress

Selling my gorgeous Madi Lane wedding dress, Eden, size 6 (I wear size 8 clothes normally, but choose this size to fit like a glove).

❤ French Chantilly lace with feathered edging. Gorgeous!

❤ White tulle under the train gives the dress volume.

❤ Silky polyester coffee colour underlay. I chose this colour to accentuate the white lace pattern.

❤ Eyelash scalloping on all lace edges. You can see this in the photos around the neckline & on the train.

❤ Two wrist ties are hidden under the skirt to help carry the train. I used these as well as carrying the dress over my arm when walking upstairs and on the beach.

❤ Zipper is hidden on the back of the dress.

Dress has been professionally dry cleaned & is in brand new condition. Is worth $2100 new.

I had so many wonderful comments about the fit, unique bohemian style and elegant train when I wore this. I will be happy to see another beautiful bride make it her own wedding dress.

This dress can be tried on by arrangement in Corindi Beach or Coffs Harbour.

I can post with Australia Post (they will ship internationally) at the buyer's expense, including tracking, signature on delivery and insurance on the dress. The cost will be calculated on enquiry depending on your location.

Alterations

Has been slightly modified by a professional seamstress. Alterations include: stitching the front slit so it sits just above the knee, rather than halfway up the thigh, and two thin padded inserts in the bust. Both of these alterations can be undone easily if it does not suit the next bride.

I have taken these approximate measurements, but the dress still fits similar to original Madi Lane AUS size 6. The few alterations I made, can be easily undone to allow a few extra centimetres in the bust or to re-open the slit in the leg to show more thigh.

Bust 85-95cm (the padding can be removed to adjust the bust size)
Waist 65-68cm
Hips (dress flairs out from waist which means it fits a wide range of waist sizes. I am 91cm+)
Length 82cm from shoulder to the front top of dress slit (can be made higher by unstitching.

The train follows behind (slightly hard to measure, depends on the height of wearer), but was a perfect length for me at 165cm tall, as I was able to walk around easily without tripping on it. It still looked spectacular trailing behind when walking down the aisle and in the photos!
