The MET gown by Georgia Young Couture from the The 'NOLITA' collection draws on the strong architectural line work, found on the iconic facades and striking monuments that defines New York City. Inspiration is translated through the collection’s geometric panelling, linear binding and dimensional form.
Purchased from Love Marie Boutique in Sydney the 'MET' gown features a mesh overlay, with a silk slip underlay, and a structured inner bodice. The straps fall over your arms and clip together with an invisible hook/eye. This can be easily hooked at a different height, or even under the arms, to create a slightly different style. The gown is lightweight and very easy to move in!
It was so comfortable and flattering to wear - a timeless, elegant dress with a modern twist. I received many compliments!
