The Dress
This exquisite Alvina Valenta was made for me by my dear friend! It is an ivory color over blush. The pictures here do not do it justice. It was custom made for me so I’d say it was size 8-10 and probably would have been labeled 12-14. I believe it was from her Fall 2007 collection but we made it A line for me. It had a loop for your wrist to carry the train and was made to be bustled up easily in the back. There are satin buttons all the way down the back of the dress and train. Those buttons, the matching, removable shrug/ wrap, and the stunning brooch totally sold me on this design. Several guests said I looked like royalty! I certainly felt regal! The dress is dry cleaned and preserved in a box from the cleaners since 2008. Just doing some Covid cleaning now.
I do have the birdcage accessory available also.
