The Dress
Ivory taffeta gown with a ballgown skirt and train. Jeweled lace bodice features a sweetheart neckline with cap sleeves and buttons down the back ending in a wide taffeta bow. Tie ups under the skirt for dancing to lift train up.
As you can see the style is timeless, classic, and elegant. Worn at a very traditional, Southern wedding in late summer.
Worn only once in 2012. Professionally cleaned and preserved immediately after wedding. Will be repacked and delivered in preservation box. Will need to be steamed to get wrinkles out obviously and dry cleaned to freshen up. It has been sealed in preservation for eight years exactly and stayed in temperature controlled room. It was only taken out for picture taking this July.
Alterations
This was tailored down from size 8 to size 4 essentially. Taken in at waist, bust, hemmed, and added breast pads.
