The Dress

Beautiful ivory, fit and flare wedding dress with large floral lace decals throughout and hand stitched beading on the straps and across the waist. This dress made me feel modern, elegant and sexy whilst still maintaining some modesty! And even though the dress was a fitted design, it was still bearable to wear all day on a hot summer wedding in late January (not to worry, it has been professionally dry cleaned!).

I loved the thin, hand beaded straps and detachable belt, along with the deep v-neck, the backless design and the long, structured train. It went perfectly with the hairstyle I wanted for the day (an extra luscious ponytail).

I ordered a size 10 from the Since We Met Bridal store, and had minor cosmetic alterations to bring the straps closer to the middle, had the belt shortened, and the waist and hips made slightly smaller.

Although the dress has been dry cleaned, some minor dirt stains are still visible on the bottom of the dress.

Alterations

Shoulder straps brought closer to the chest, belt shortened, waist and hips made more snug. Dress loop added to the train so that you can keep the train up after your ceremony.
