The Dress

This never worn, unique beauty is the Avie gown, yellow floral edition, from Chantel Lauren. The gown was hand painted and is one of a kind! It would be perfect for a spring, summer or even tropical (Hawaii?) bride. Made out of silk, this dress is incredibly soft and comfortable to wear. There are details on the Chantel Lauren website here https://www.chantellauren.com/avie-wedding-dress. It has a train but also can be worn bustled up. It is ivory, not stark white (the first photo is not my dress). This gown was altered but never worn. It was pressed before being taken home, but because its silk would likely need to be pressed again.I ended up having to do a winter wedding instead of a spring one so my loss is your gain. Things I love about this dress: the softness and feel, the drape, the back, and of course the GORGEOUS design on the skirt. This dress took 6 months to arrive from the designer, and in its original state has a VERY long skirt which would need to be altered by anyone shorter than about 6' tall. These alterations cost $600 so that is definitely an added value! The price is a total steal because...like I said..this dress has NEVER been worn outside of fittings.
