I bought this brand new. No damage. Dry-cleaned and shipping included in price.
It looked and felt amazing to wear this dress on the big day and it works great for the photos, especially with some backlighting.
In terms of being practical, my husband and I had a rehearsed dance for our first dance. After I took the overskirt off, we could move around the dancefloor well (and we remembered most of the moves).
