The Dress
Current season Rosa Clara Cariel dress. In perfect condition, only worn for 4 hours as I had a second dress. Beautiful classic style that isn't boring. I never ever imagined I would wear a halter neck wedding dress but I adored this dress as soon as I tried it on. Thick lining so it is very forgiving. I invested $850 in getting quite significant alterations to improve the fit of this dress as the original dress had some design faults (see below).
Alterations
Removed white (visible) cups and replaced with nude colored (note I am a 10D and didn't need additional support)
Removed chiffon bow
Boning put in the sides to assist the neckline to sit flush (note the original dress was far too heavy for the neckline)
Waist and back area taken in (I am a size 6 -8 usually)
Hemmed to fit 5'4 with 10cm heels
Slightly taken in over the bottom area to give more shape (not at all tight)
