The Dress

I bought this dress from a bride on Stillwhite (the photos with a groom on this listing are her) but my diet is not going to plan, so I'm selling it as I ultimately need the 12 instead of the 10.

Size: It's an Australian 10, but in reality I think it's closer to an AUS 8/US 2. According to the measurement chart of the designer the bust for this AUS 10 should be 90-92cm/35-36 inches, waist is 70-73cm/27-28 inches, and hips don't matter because the dress flares from the waist. In reality- it's more like bust 83-86cm/32-34inches, waist is closer to 60-63cm/24-25inches, and hips again don't matter.

As an extra guide, I wear a 4 in Black Halo, Shoshanna, and Milly dresses, and a 2 in JCrew dresses, and this dress won't zipper the last 3 inches up my ribs.

Length: The dress length is perfect for me in heels (5'6 in 3.5 inch heels/176cm)- so anyone 5' 9" or shorter

Fabric: The fabric is stunning and won't wrinkle easily during a church ceremony with photos after, it's a gorgeous thick Italian polyester- not thick enough to be heavy, but thick enough to smooth over bumps and lumps.

Condition: It's in perfect condition- not a mark or dot on it. It looks brand new. It was shortened to the current length (5' 9"), and the bride added a seam on the left side, arm hole level. The last photo shows the seam to direct the left of the fingers- and shows how I can't get it zipped up all of the way if you need a sizing reference... She also removed a tack from the shoulder flap to make it flappier. I love what she did with the flap, but you can pin it back to normal if you want.

Color: The designer lists it as white, but against white it goes a tad cream, and against ivory it goes really white. It's a chameleon shade which I was love. I can go either ways with accessories.

Ask away with any questions!!

Alterations

The length was shortened and the left arm hole/chest area had a seam added (see the last 2 photos)
