The Dress

I fell in love with this dress the first time I tried it on. It made me feel beautiful and like a princess. The gathering feature at the side, helped hide my tummy and made me feel smaller in size. The beaded details are beautiful on the bodice, side of the dress and on the train (See photos). The train was perfect in length; long enough to show beaded detail, but short enough so it wasn't heavy. I did have small alterations done, to hem the bottom and add buttons to hold the train after the wedding. The corset back was perfect to tighten or loosen the dress as needed, there for no alterations there. I was worried about the beading under the arms rubbing, but I didn't have any troubles. I added purple strings to give my dress a small pop of color, but those can be changed out easily. The pins are not included with the dress. Those were in memory of my grandparents who have passed away. I wore the dress the whole day and it was easy to move around in. The dress has been dry cleaned and preserved in an air tight box (I prefer to keep it in the box for the next bride). It is labeled in good condition as it had some dirt on the bottom of the dress from the floor at the reception. This dress is gorgeous and I am hoping to make another bride just as happy as I was in this dress on my wedding day.

Alterations

Hemmed at the bottom of dress, added buttons under the dress to hold the train up for the reception.
