The Dress
I bought this at a sample sale from Serendipity Bridal in Austin, TX. It is a chantilly and corded lace with a Stretch Silk Charmeuse slip dress with a sweep train. Fit-and-flare silhouette with a sweetheart illusion neckline and figure-accentuating, hand-placed lace appliques and elbow-length sleeves. There's some pilling under the armpit area and a few snags in the lace. I'm a size six regularly, I wear 29" jeans and s/m in skirts and dresses. Online size chart dimensions are size 8, Bust 37, Waist 29, Hips 39.5, Hollow to Waist 14.625, Hollow to Hem 58.5. I purchased the dress in 2016.
Alterations
The dress was altered in the shoulder area and the slip was altered as well with cups added. There are hooks for the bustle. The last picture shows what the dress looks like bustled.
