The Dress

I am parting with this beautiful Monique Lhuillier gown, which I purchased in 2012 from Brown's Bride in London. It was cleaned after my wedding and I have kept it in its original garment bag. It has a corset-style top with beading and applique detail, and the skirt is made up of two layers of light tulle and is silk-lined. It has a slight train. It's very elegant, but also lightweight and stays up so it's easy to wear all day/night. The dress label is an 8, but I'm normally a 4-6 and it was quite snug on me - the top is stretchy and is made to fit tightly.

At the time I bought the dress, it cost approx. $8,500, but I am willing to sell for MUCH less since it isn't from a recent season. There is some minor discoloration at the top and some small tears in the tulle skirt. See images - I can send more if you want further info.

Alterations

Minimal alterations done by a professional seamstress that worked with Brown's Bride in London. She did a small amount of hemming (I'm just under 5'6", 5'8" with heels) and also added bra cups, which I took out afterwards. You could easily add in normal bra cups or padded cups, or leave unlined as it came.
