The Dress

The heavy french crepe falls flawlessly over your figure. The opening slit allows the dress to flow as you walk. A little sexy!

If you have a small waist, the bodice of the dress is supported and firmly secured by first button on the back. There is a zip underneath the buttons, and the second button has been reinforced so you can hang the mermaid tail when you need to.

The bust has inbuilt support cups which came with the dress.

The gown has been dry cleaned and is in near perfect condition. If you look incredibly close to the inside of the hem, you will see a very small section of discolouration but it is all internal. This could be removed by a seamstress however I was reluctant to have it hemmed as this is something you may need to do anyway.

I had some alterations made by a seamstress in Brisbane. The straps were shortened (pulled up to a seam that sits on top of the shoulder). The hem and tail were taken up, and pulled in around the waist and hips (bum). It is an internal seam and there is room for further alterations to suit your figure.

I am 166cm or 5'6 and wore heels that were 9cm or 3.54 inches. Purchased and worn in Dec 2019.

Alterations

I had the straps tightened/shortened to firmly snug my bust and stop the straps falling down. I also had the hem shortened slightly and had it pulled in around my hips/bottom.
