The Dress

I, and many others, thought my dress was classic and timeless. I felt fantastic in my dress, although it's ballgown like nature and a warm Melbourne wedding I felt I could sit, move, dance and enjoy my day.

The dress fit perfectly and needed minor alterations to fit my fairly standard size 10 frame and cup B chest.

It is V-neck front and back and joins to a fitted band around the waist. The bodice is fitted and moves to a very full skirt which falls nicely to the floor and doesn't balloon out. There is no filler fabric beneath the skirt so I stayed cool and comfortable and didn't overheat. The skirt also has discrete pockets which was fun and surprisingly useful (I kept my lipstick in there all day!)

Minor marks on train and underneath of skirt. Dress is professionally dry cleaned with a certificate, and wrapped in a sealed box.

Alterations

Bodice was tailored to fit me exactly. I need the straps shortened so the dress sat flush too my busts. (I didn't need to wear a bra on the day). The length taken up slightly to sit flush with the floor, I wore a small heel.
