The Dress

My amazing wedding dress I wore in March 2019. I still absolutely love it, but am hoping to find another bride who dreams of a special designer dress at half the price.. Socially distanced try on is possible, we are very careful in our house the dress has not been touched in a couple of months so it is totally clean! I can provide an idea of my measurements if this helps you but I’m a UK 10-12. The dress was a UK 10 and was adjusted a little bigger to fit me.

It's made of a heavy rich ivory silk that feels very luxurious with soft petal applique all over. The bodice is boned as corset so feels very secure and gives a lovely shape. It was very light and comfortable to wear, it doesn't have a big skirt underneath but still has alot of volume. Oh, and it has POCKETS!

It was bought from The Wedding Club, one of the best bridal shops in London and expertly altered to fit me by their in-house tailor. They also added a series of loops and buttons on the underside so that the beautiful long train can be pinned up for dancing in the evening. This worked brilliantly and mean that the train was tucked up neatly inside out of sight, not a bustle as you usually see.

It came with a matching veil which I had made into a fabulous cape but is still very long and could become a veil again very easily, let me know if you are interested in this too.

It has been professionally cleaned by a specialist company.

Alterations

Neckline made more sweatheart, moved a few flowers around and bodice adjusted to fit more perfectly, adjusted for length and buttons added inside to pin up train.
