It is thick, silky material that is durable and elegant. It is heavy enough that it hangs nicely and creates a slimming silhouette. This dress is great for the petite gals out there, as it doesn't consume you. This dress was a dream, stunning, comfortable, and simple to bustle the train for maximum danceability. I paired this gown with an ivory veil and silver shoes
