The Dress

I absolutely loved my wedding dress! It is beautiful and elegant. The organza material feels so nice on the skin and the horsehair trim is so gorgeous! It sways so beautifully and is not heavy feeling. It has a beautiful train. The jeweled belt is so pretty and can be removed if you want. I loved the bustle. It kept the shape of the dress from front to back! I am 5 feet 8 inches tall. I wore 3 inch heels with the dress on the wedding day and the dress was perfect length!

The dress has not been dry cleaned. It did get a little dirty from dragging on the ground when walking down the aisle, but it is not dark and can easily be cleaned off. The ivory color is still so beautiful. There is no yellowing of the material at all.

To the person who buys this dress, I know you will love it as much as I did and will feel so beautiful when wearing it!

Side note: I also have a 126 inch veil with horsehair trim that I wore. It is so beautiful and matches perfectly with the dress! If you are interested in that please let me know. You can see it in a few of the pictures I attached.

Alterations

This dress is a US size 16 with alterations only in the bodice. My alterations lady told me that when she altered the dress that she did not cut the fabric off, that there is still the option to let the dress out again if need be (the dress can also be taken in 2 dress sizes as well and keep the shape). It was taken in on the sides of the bodice. The boning pieces on the back of the bodice were padded on the bottom for comfort. There is some ivory stitching on the very outside of each bust section (not noticeable) to get the dress to fit closer to the skin. Those can be taken out as well. There are a total of 5 French Style bustle strings that are color coded for ease of matching them up.
