The Dress

UPDATE: dress was taken to alterationist for consulation and has a line of white chalk at the hemline where the hemming would have been completed. I did not go through with the alterations, so the dress is otherwise still unused and in perfect condition. I wore a different dress to suit a smaller, outdoor pandemic wedding and have no need for this dress.

]I purchased it as one of the first things in my wedding planning process, but lost weight since and found it no longer fit me, so I'm looking for a new dress for my wedding this August.

At the time of my initial dress shopping appointment, I was measured at 37.5 bust, 30 waist, and 40.5 hips. The dress ordered is a size 12 from Jenny Yoo's size chart and fit snugly at the bodice. Photographs are of the size 12 sample at the bridal salon, taken April 2019, and the sample size fit perfectly. At the time of my alterations appointment (which I onlt went for a consultation), I had gone down about an inch or two everywhere and was told alterations were possible for that.

DRESS FEATURES:

- inner tulle lining can be removed during alterations for a less poofy look
- short train, can be hemmed during alterations

The official color from Jenny Yoo is "Dark Ivory." Belts do not come with the dress, but I've included the photos to show what you can do with it.

The Eliza dress goes for $1400 BEFORE taxes and fees (so it would have come out to $1500 with fees where I live), but I got it at a trunk show sale and spent $1350 total, INCLUDING taxes and fees. I'm happy to cover reasonable shipping costs depending on where you live. Update: I've taken off another $50 dollars due to the tailor consultation hemline chalk.
