The Dress

After trying on many 'formal' wedding dresses and lacking that feeling of it being 'me', I fell head over heels for the exquisite Hermione de Paula Wild Rose wedding dress - her designs are simply like nothing else. There is a beautiful romanticism and fluidity to them, and it was so comfortable, no restrictive corset or endless puffs of tulle.

The detail and workmanship is just breathtaking as you'd expect with the price tag. The dress is lined in a blush-nude silk from the bust (no straps) following the embroidery, and down to the floor, which allowed me to wear a stick on bra(perfect- no slipping occurred!). It is set off with ivory embroidery and beading which turns to a muted pink down the back and into train, and has a off centre thigh split, with a loop for holding the train and covered buttons centre back to fasten.

The dress is in beautiful condition, with no visible signs of stain or damage, and no personalised messages within the embroidery. It has been carefully professionally dry cleaned by Terrington Burchett bridal and heirloom cleaning specialists.
