The Dress

This is a high-end designer wedding gown by Ines di Santo. The model is called "Snow".

If you want something different, and yet a massive statement dress, this one is for you. It feels like pure luxury, and the craftsmanship is exceptional. It is incredibly well made, and the quality of the fabric is truly amazing. This dress is so elegant, with sleek lines, no bling or lace or other texture that would distract from its pure and minimalist details. The cut and tailoring will do all the talking, and will make you the most elegant and fashionable bride.

This gown has a deep v-neck with privacy mesh, and beautiful buttons coming down in the back. There is a lot of drama in the long train, especially when paired with the cathedral veil. It is both extremely modern with a sleek and slightly edgy aesthetic in the front, but also very vintage, traditional and very feminine in a retro kind of way due to the voluminous back once you use the bustle to set it up. It is incredible how one dress can have so many unique characteristics.

The v-neckline is low, however, your girls will be firmly in place, and you can even wear a plunge bra, if you are more comfortable that way. I did not have to worry at all about my neckline, did not have to pull or adjust anything, and was moving about so freely and carefree during the ceremony and the many photos, bending over without issue to play with kids and puppies, and able to sit down perfectly.

This is truly the best aspect, that the dress is so wearable and comfortable while looking so incredibly elegant. The covered back has beautiful silk buttons, and the cap sleeves are so adorable and make this piece just so comfortable and beautiful, and give it a unique, playful twist. You will feel dress enough, yet incredibly sexy and flirty, and will find yourself striking the perfect balance between modest and daring for this once-in-a-lifetime occasion. And did I mention this dress has pockets?

I will be honest: While pricey, this dress was the best purchase of my entire life. Ines di Santo is one of the most talented designers, and once I laid eyes on this dress online, I knew I had to have it. It was near impossible to find this dress, and I searched for hours online until I came across her atelier. And Ines came to greet my husband and I the day of the purchase, which made it all the more special.

For reference, I am an athletic and tall woman, 5'10'', 145 lbs, I have fairly long arms, and developed shoulders, and I am a 36DD bra size. In day-to-day wear I am a size 4 to 6, and I am mindful of pieces that showcase my waist in relation to my hips and chest. This dress will give you a magical silhouette.

I wore this dress with white patent leather, 2-inch heel, lace-up, pointy booties featured in one of the pictures, as well as a nude plunge bra, and the Erica Koesler cathedral veil in ivory that is depicted in some of the photos. I am happy to discuss sale of the veil if interested.

I bought this dress at Lovella Bridal in Glendale, CA in summer 2018. While the size is a 14, I was told it runs 2-3 sizes smaller than regular sizes.

This gown has minimal wear, about two hours total time for the ceremony and candids as I changed outfits for the reception and later part of the evening.
