The Dress

Update: video now added of dress after cleaning and repairs, I have it back at home and ready for shipping.

A tulle ball gown with a beaded lace appliqued bodice, deep V back and 3D flower detail. My wedding was in October 2019. The detail on this dress is just stunning, I've tried to capture as best I can with the photos and video. I absolutely loved wearing the dress, it doesn't feel as big as it looks. Definitely had the wow factor I was looking for.

The under layer of the tulle is a blush pink so it gives a lovely soft hint of blush. The tulle layers on top are ivory. I wore with a hoop petticoat which I would recommend as it is much easier to move. I will include the one I wore with the dress.

I have had it dry cleaned and sent to the seamstress to fix any damages made on the day. Overall I have spent total of £1000 on alterations, repairs and cleaning.

Smoke and pet free household. Dress will come with hoop petticoat, dress cover and some additional pink tulle which came with the dress originally.

Alterations

Straps were shortened, bodice was tailored in a the waist. Length was shortened (I am 5ft 4 but wore 85mm heels). I also had 3 loops added to the under layers to dance in the evening. I only actually needed to loop one around the wrist to dance. My seamstress advised it wasn’t possible to add a bustle at the back to shorten the train.
