The Dress
This is a lovely, flowy, lightweight, silk chiffon, pale dusty blue Marla sample dress from Leanne Marshall, I am unsure of the year. Just purchased in April 2020 from her online sample sale, proceeds go to Meals on Wheels to help seniors during COVID-19. The dress is in wonderful shape, NO alterations! The zipper structure has a working clasp, and the top does have boning which isn't uncomfortable, especially since it's lined in silk. The skirt measures 49”-50” in the front and about 61” in the back. NOTE: I am 5'2" without shoes, I was planning on wearing keds. I would need the bust and ribs taken in if I were to keep it, and I would need many inches off the hem to not trip everywhere. I can show you original receipt, too! The dress is light, so shipping cost will be low. Tiny, tiny, tiny, dirt mark at the hem toward the bottom of the skirt, which may easily be cleaned hemmed off. I just want to be 100% honest! I am trying to sell the dress because I bought another, Leanne’s Remy gown.
