The Dress

Hoping someone else falls in love with this dress as much as I did. It was a prefect combination of a flattering and more modern high neck line with a sweetheart-esque sheer component to give it more of a romantic feel. The beading was also the perfect balance of shimmer without being too over the top, and the scalloped details added to that romantic feel. The tulle skirt is also light and airy, making it super easy to move around and dance/kill it on the dance floor in, and didn't take away from the beautiful beadwork on the upper. It was honestly a gorgeous dress that I knew I could be comfortable in all day.

I was slightly thinner for my wedding than I am now (I'm 5'7" and currently 130lbs. Was closer to 120lbs for the wedding), and have an athletic/straight build, just to give you an idea on fit. I really loved the voodoo this dress had which gave me a waist even though I really don't have one.

The dress was professionally cleaned and repaired (I ripped some beads off, probably with my sick dance moves), and has been in the garment bag in my closet since.

Alterations

The only things I had altered were the length (I am 5'7" and wore 3" heels), and I had B-cups sewn into the dress.
