The Dress

Selling my absolutely stunning Jane Hill Mimi Gown. Worn for my wedding in November 2019 and it has been dry cleaned and boxed. I purchase this form Love Marie Bridal Boutique in Sydney.

The lining of my dress is mink not ivory and it has a beautiful invisible sheer neckline. The first photo is me the day I picked it out and the rest from the actual day. It is so comfortable and allows you to move so freely all day in ultimate comfort. Plus it's great if you like to drop it low on the dance floor. It is a beautiful and great quality lace and has just the right amount of sparkle and it does not itch or irritate the skin at all.

I would love to keep it forever and try it on again and again over the years as I am obsessed with it but I love the thought of someone else wearing it on their special day and feeling as beautiful as I did. this gown deserves to be worn and shown off not boxed up!

No damages to the dress as it was dry cleaned pretty much straight away. The dress was $6,500 RRP.

If you are interested you are most welcome to come and try it on first as I know even second hand, a wedding dress is a big decision!

Alterations

I had only slight alterations to the gown. Jane Hill make the dress to your closest size and then it gets altered as needed. My dress was a size 6 and then I had the below:

- Waist line pulled in slightly from the back zipper to sit flush on my waist
- The lining was attached to the train as it does not come attached
- Bustle was added in for the train
- Nude colour cups sewn into the bust area

No adjustments were made the V neck which does go quite low but with the nude tulle it is in no way revealing and is so comfortable.

Only very slight alterations were made and without realising I still somehow lost a few kilos (Wedding stress) and it was slightly too big on the day haha but still looked and felt amazing!
