The Dress

This custom made Anomalie party dress is perfect for dancing the night away and celebrating your nuptials. I wore a more classic and elegant wedding dress for my wedding ceremony & dinner. I wanted to have a fun, sexy and more daring dress to match the festive party vibe of our reception.

The top of the dress is a fitted bodice created out of beaded lace (with hints of sequins) designed to give off an illusory feather look. The bottom, inner skirt layer is made up of a matching beaded lace. The straps and the v-neck front contain a sheer illusion skin toned mesh. The outer sheer beaded skirt layer contains a slit on the left slide and flows with your movements - making for a very fluid dancing dress.

I had a blast wearing this dress and felt comfortable all night in it (even when my husband’s friends lifted us into the air and we did a mini crowd surf!).

While the outer sheer skirt layer does add a modest layer of protection, I would recommend this dress for someone who is my height (5’6”) or shorter, or someone with a short torso and shorter legs - as the inner skirt is relatively short. The outer skirt can be professionally hemmed to accommodate any length.

Alterations

My seamstress sewed in cups to the dress so I did not have to wear a bra. Other standard alterations applied to contour to my body, including hemming the skirt to match my heel height.
