The Dress

I have decided to part ways with my absolutely beautiful Custom made Kel-Leigh Couture gown that I wore for my wedding in March 2020.
I originally got the inspiration for my custom gown from a gorgeous Karen Willis Holmes dress I fell in love with online. However this particular gown wasn’t quite everything I was after and so I searched for someone who could make me my dream dress. The style I was going for was timeless elegance and I think this dress represents just that. I’ve never been a real girly girl and have always liked a more simplistic look. To me this gown made me feel like myself and a bride at the same time. from the stretchy, comfortable, easy to bust a move in crepe material down to the smallest simplistic button details that just made it come to life. It’s fabulous slim fit hugged my curves in all the right places while also giving me loads of support through my chest and abdominal areas due to the thick material. As the material is quite thick we did choose to do a French bustle instead of a regular one or a hand strap. I think this just added to the timeless and vintage feel of the gown. Also side note, crepe material has so much stretch that sizes can vary. I was smaller then sizes provided on website at my wedding but the dress still fits very comfortably just slightly more fitted to my body. I could not have loved my dress anymore and would highly recommend Kel-Leigh Couture for custom made gowns.
