The Dress
I made this dress for my wedding last year. I used a blush underlay and purchased an assortment of lace. The top section has a nude illusion with foliage themed lace varieties, fishnet on the sides, and a satin lace up back. The back of the satin train blends into three-dimensional lace flowers in blush, salmon and mauve, assembled in a colour gradient. The asking price is roughly the cost of materials, the dress took approximately 60 hours to make using a sewing machine and hand sewing for the details.
The dress is dry-cleaned and comes with a hanger and garment bag.
It is a beautiful dress and I absolutely adore it. It would fit a size 8-12, the lace back is generous, I started making it as a size 8 but ended up wearing it when I was 5 months pregnant and closer to a size 12.
I am happy to make some minor alterations if you try it on and love it as much as I do, but would like a few things different.
The dress is available now. I need one more opportunity to photograph it before then. Happy for contactless pick up from Greenbank 4124 or postage.
