The Paige Gown, designed by Amy Kuschel for BHLDN/Anthropologie and no longer available (https://www.bhldn.com/products/paige-gown), is an elegant, classic, beautifully and simply designed wedding dress. I bought it because it’s absolutely timeless, I felt wonderful in it, and it’s a blank canvas - as demonstrated by the photos from Anthro’s website that shows you how versatile it can be with toppers, belts, overskirts and accessories.
This is a sample dress, never worn (NWT) and never altered. There is one very small snag near the floor (maybe 2 mm), hardly noticeable, and I think I’m of a height where it was going to get hemmed away [removed]. There is boning in the top half which I’m told reduces the need for a bra. It definitely feels more structured, which I liked paired with it being strapless.
I am usually a size 6 hip, 4 bust, and you can see how much I needed to take in the size 10 at the back. I ultimately decided to go with a dress that will require less overall sizing alterations.
