The Dress

Congratulations on getting engaged!

This beautiful gown was my dream dress and was purchased by myself in early 2020. Thanks to COVD-19 I ended up bringing my wedding date forward before social gathering restrictions increased and did not wear this dress as I had not yet started alterations. The photos aren't my own.

The gown has been professional dry cleaned and is hanging in a bag. The following information has been obtained from the bride that I purchased the gown from...

- Sweetheart neckline with boat neck lace overlay and attached silk chiffon skirt with small train

- Beautiful lace cap sleeves and lace V back

The following alterations have been done to the gown:

- Dress hemmed to 175cm including heels. I am 165cm and wore 4 inch (10cm) heels and the gown just barely touches the floor and still covers my heels. I also changed into flats later on in the day and danced away the night with no problems (with dress bustled)

- Waist taken in to 25 inch waist

- Cups added to bust. I still wore a strapless bra on the day for extra support and volume which was not visible in the V back

- Bustle added.
