The Dress

Classic A-line dress in lace and pure *silk* organza that is super soft! It has an internal corset that cinches you in so you stay in shape at all times. Yet, it is extremely light and breathable given the many layers. I visited so many shops with a traditional and timeless wedding dress in mind, but to my surprise, it's actually hard to find a full dress that is comfortable and not heavy.

It was at Suzanne Neville UK that I managed to find this perfect dress. The look is timeless (looks stunning even in black and white photos), and the skirt made from layers of silk organza is heavenly. You can see how ethereal it is in photos and yet it holds its A-line shape well, hiding any body flaws ;)

Suzanne only makes and distributes her dresses locally (in UK) so I had to purchase it there. 3/4 sleeves were customized for the dress (the original design has cap sleeves) so that it looks just that bit more traditional. Everything else is made the same as the original Heather, so you can try it on at Suzanne's stockists if there is one near you.)

See above for measurement details. Normally wear a 32A/B bra, waist is around 27". The internal corset allows for UK 6-10 body measurements; if you are larger or smaller, all you need to do is have your seamstress readjust the outer buttons for a snug fit.

Not yet dry cleaned, so there are a few marks at the bottom hem. Unavoidable slight wear from use for less than 6 hours; I later changed into a different dress midway through reception. It was worn mostly indoors, and only a very short while outdoors for photos, but I did not walk on mud or grass. The length of the dress is unaltered from the original length, so great for all heights and you can hem off the marks at the bottom if you're not very tall.

The dress is made with such high quality fabrics and workmanship that it's just a waste to be worn for a few hours. I'd love for the dress to go to another bride so please do feel free to make me a reasonable offer. Will ship worldwide (takes around 3-7 days), from Malaysia. Taken in the bust, see measurements above. Waist and length unaltered. Further alterations are straightforward and inexpensive if needed.
