The Dress

An absolutely stunning dress. This was my favourite thing about our whole wedding! I felt comfortable and confident in this dress. I really liked that it had a lace pattern but wasn't floral. It suited the industrial/rustic venue and style of our wedding.

I bought this dress from this site second-hand. It has been dry-cleaned since our wedding in November 2019.

This dress is fully beaded over the lace pattern. It has thin straps and a low v-neck at the front. The back has a line of beads along the sheer fabric which cuts down to the waist.
It hugs the hips and then flares out with a lovely train. You can really appreciate the lace pattern in the train which has scalloped edges.

The beading makes the dress quite heavy but it was still very comfortable to wear all day. Due to general wear there are some areas where beads have fallen off however, you really can't tell unless you look very closely.

I also have a simple, cathedral length, ivory veil if you would like it.

Alterations

The dress had been altered for the original owner with the hips being taken in, the length shortened and a bustle added.

I had some slight alterations done: elastic was added to the beading around the back to reduce the gaping as I moved. The v-neck at the front was narrowed slightly. We also fixed any loose threads/beads.
