The Dress

Rue De Seine's Poppy Stardust was the boho dress of my dreams and I'm so sad to let her go!
-I bought the dress as a UK size 12. I am a US 6 normally.
-Worn once for 4 hours on wedding night. Still in great condition and wish I could wear her again somewhere =)
-Off-white lace with nude lining.
-Comes with finger loop for dancing and walking as shown in photos!

*Due to the delicate nature of the lace, there may be slight imperfections that do not affect the overall look of the gown. The list price fairly reflects the condition.

RDS' description: Poppy Stardust has a form fitting structured bustier with a dramatic full skirt. Fullness kicks out from this low hip point into a full skirt and train. A clean, chic silhouette is contrasted by the use of a bold, and heavy corded lace. Placement lines on the bodice, and the use of different laces appeals to our fun loving modern brides.

Alterations

Over $900 of alterations:
-Bust cups were added for padding and to give a lift. I'm a 34B cup, but the dress was a variation C cup size, so there is room for more padding if needed.
-Invisible bustling was added with 5 clear buttons and they are very hard to see. These can easily be removed from the dress if you prefer a different style of bustling. You can see my bustle in the photos.
-Added boning to bodice for structure and to prevent wrinkling of the fabric, as this dress is pretty stretchy.
-Tightened below the bum to show off the behind a bit more.
-Bottom of the dress hemmed to accommodate my 4" heels. I am 5'5" - 5'.6" ish.
-I was worried the dress wouldn't stay up while dancing and also worried about the sleeves not letting me lift up my arms, so I had the tailor sew in the arm band near the bust and added additional elastic support so I could wear it over my shoulder throughout the evening (shown in photo), then easily go back to off the shoulder whenever I wanted to! This could be adjusted by your tailor if you do not want the arm bands, but having the choice to wear it both ways anytime was amazing. You would no be able to wear it over the shoulder like I did with the original arm band as is. You would definitely need added support like I did.
-Added in an inner belt, which worked wonders with keeping the dress up all night long while dancing (shown in photo). This really fastened me into the dress. Highly recommend.
-Added an additional hook-and-eye on the arm bands, so I could push them back and hook them together from behind giving the dress an additional decorative look. Also can be removed by tailor.

Accessories:
-All excess fabric removed from length during alterations, arm bands, Rue De Seine Garment bag. Simple veil also for sale ($50).
