The Dress

I wanted a dress that was flattering, made me feel beautiful, and somehow was comfortable to wear all day long. This dress did it all. I loved that I never had to worry about a dress malfunction. It was easy to put on, take off, and use the bathroom!! There are cups in the dress which was great so no bra was necessary. Also the fabric was the perfect shade and not sheer so there was no need for a slip, special underwear, or Spanx. I couldn't believe I found a dress that was so beautiful in detail that not only was is not necessary for much jewelry but I felt so comfortable in all day! This dress made me so happy and I hope someone can find that special joy in it the way I did! I also had purchased a cathedral vail with beading to match. There was some minor damage to the vail, as to some beading lost. However I want to include the vail as a free addition to the dress. Perhaps it can be repurposed. Both the dress and vail were specialty dry cleaned right away as to avoid any staining or odors.

Alterations

Minor alterations were made as the dress almost fit me perfectly when I purchased it. The shoulders were slightly shortened so no puckering happened. Bra cups were added, as I am a 36 B. A a slight hem on the bottom so the dress didn’t drag on the floor. There is also a French bustle which was easy to do and undo and was great for dancing and photos.
