Fiona Claire Silk V neck Tank + Silk Tulle Skirt

This is a new, two-piece, wedding dress. I purchased this dress in 2017 for my 2018 wedding but had a last-minute change of heart after finding another dress.

I absolutely adore the elegance and simplicity of this design. The full-length layers of the skirt feel delicate and feminine without being over the top. The skirt looks beautiful worn as either full length or ankle length and can easily be altered. See the current alteration details below.

The v-neck tank is made with two layers of silk satin.
Personally, I think I should have opted for a larger size top to avoid the 'ripple' look around the bust area that you can see in the photos. There are some photos on the Fiona Claire site that show how lovely this top can look: https://www.fionaclaire.com/shop/silktee-silktulle
There is very small pulled thread in the front of the top. It's hidden by the waistband of the skirt when the top is tucked in. See photo for details.

Alterations

I had two small darts put in the waistband at the back of the skirt to suit a 67cm waist and to also allow the top to be tucked in.

The length was altered for me to wear flat shoes. My height is 178cm and my measurement from waist to floor is 116cm. The length of the skirt is easily altered as the outer layer of silk tulle has a raw finish and sits a couple of cm longer than the underneath silk layers.

As with all gown purchases, this will require a press/steam. However, it is freshly clean and has not been worn.
