The Dress

Sia Gown, Rue De Seine’s classics collection. Description from the designer:
Sia uses our delicate embroidery on mesh to create a fitted bodice to the low hip before Crochet panels are added using their scallop edge, which hits all the right points on the figure adding movement and spirit to the entire gown as it falls into a full skirt and train. Set in sleeves remain fitted to the elbow before falling into romantic crochet bells with opening to show wrists and add relief.

This stunning gown was purchased in April 2019 from the Bridal Atelier in Melbourne. I will be so sad to part with her but I would love to find someone who will get as much joy out of wearing her as I did on my wedding day. This gown deserves to be worn again & not just hidden away in my wardrobe.

The outer crochet & mesh shell is in amazing worn condition. The bottom of the train is fully intact with no rips/tears or discolouration.
The ivory silk slip has a little bit of discolouration around the hem that couldn’t be fully removed with dry cleaning, although none of this is visible when wearing as the outer shell & train completely cover it.

Alterations

The gown has had minimal alterations. I am 5’4 & wore 12cm heels so only had 2cm taken off the train & the silk slip has been taken in slightly at the waist.
