Maggie Sottero says it is all. This beautiful dress needs a new home. It is strapless with a sweet heart neckline. The dress is detailed with Swarvorski crystals and a corset style strap up back. The skirt has plenty of volume with beautiful tulle material and the crystals are scattered throughout the dress but are full on the bodice. It was bought as a UK size 14 but it was big on me (I normally wear a size 14) so it had to be taken in, at the hips and bust (to fit a 34C). I wore it with a strapless bra comfortably and because it has a corset back you can tie it as tight or as loose as is comfortable for you - I gave myself room to eat and dance and it was perfect. It is flattering on all body types, I have included a catalogue picture (which we know is always on someone very slim) but I have got a fuller figure and I felt fabulous. It has a strong ribbon sewn in at the hem so it can be picked up while you dance the night away. : ) It is a really full dress but I found it really comfortable - had it on for over 12hours and managed to dance to all sorts of lively music. You might need a little help lifting all the beautiful material out of the way for bathroom breaks. I borrowed a hoop and wore this underneath so my legs would be free - you might want to do the same. Because it is floor length it did pick up some dirt from the ground. It has been professionally cleaned but a small amount of dirt couldn't be removed from the hem lining but you won't see this when worn at all. Some of the thread is a little loose under the arms from the days wear and the thread holding the flap of the corset could do with a little hand sewing to secure again - I have shown the pictures of these, they are minor flaws. I am parting with it only to make room …..and to buy something special for hubby....otherwise this dress is sold with a heart full of lovely memories. : ). Originally bought for £1500.

Alterations

Taken in at the corset/hip to fit to size 14. This was done professionally so the work is all done neatly and hidden as if it was picked from a shelf.
