The Dress

I loved wearing this gorgeous ivory a-line gown, with a layered tulle skirt, v-neck, and lace-up back. Sparkly beaded embellishment around the waist gives beautiful, subtle detailing.

The top of the dress is boned, and it laces up at the back so it really accentuates the waist and gives you a gorgeous silhouette. I felt really secure in it, it didn’t need adjusting throughout the day and it was so comfortable.

It has been fully hand-washed so is almost as it was when I bought it, apart from a small black smudge inside the bust, caused by me keeping keeping my lipstick tucked in there! Some of the lettering from my lipstick tube rubbed off on the dress but you can not see the mark at all when the dress is on as it is so fitted to the body (see photos)

There is also a small hole in one layer of tulle at the bottom of the skirt, about the size of a 20p - but that hole was there before I wore it and it was absolutely not noticeable on the day because of the number of layers.

I am including my underskirt (not pictured) and my veil. All 3 items cost £700 brand new.

I am 5ft 5, and usually wear a size 16, with 36D bust. This would definitely fit a size up or a size down due to the corset back, and there was certainly room in there for someone with bigger boobs than me!

Alterations

Had some small adjustments to the straps, and the underarm to prevent rubbing. I also had the train slightly shortened.
