The Dress
This dress was worn in June 2001 and hermetically sealed in April 2002 (certificate in photos.) It has not been opened until now (Feb. 2020.) This dress was very comfortable to wear. I was drawn to the simple elegance of the flowered embroidery, which starts on the bottom part of the skirt and continues onto the train. The 4 foot train is a part of the dress and is not detachable. The top bodice looks like a separate piece but it is actually attached to the skirt. There is some dirt staining on the hemline of the under layer of the skirt. It should be possible to get this out. There is one button missing from the back, so it will need to be replaced. The veil (plain, simple design) was sealed with the dress and is in perfect condition.
