The Dress

This beautiful Marrakesh Melody dress consists of two dresses - a lace dress and silk slip underneath.

I felt incredible in this dress all day. All the guests and my now husband were totally amazed by it. I even had one guest who said she was chasing me around desperate for more photos of it!

Every inch of the dress is 100% perfect. Extraordinary handmade lace patterns, bell sleeves, silk slip underneath. Additionally it is so comfortable to wear. I wish I had more opportunity to wear it over and over.

I am selling with original Rue De Seine box and label (removed when I had the dress altered).

From the designer: Marrakesh Melody is an ideal balance between timeless and modern. Laser cut velvet is re-appliqued onto an openwork mesh to create a bold and luxe effect. Long fitted sleeves and an open back keep the gown youthful and fresh. Centre back godet creates a full and dramatic train in complimenting fabric.

Altered to fit me, I am 5 foot 2 inches (1.56 cm) and a UK size 6 -8. At the wedding I was wearing 3 inch heels. These dresses almost always need some alterations as they are made a standard size 8,10,12 etc with the expectation to be altered to you.

It is dry cleaned and is in immaculate condition. With alternations this dress was about £3500, so it is such a bargain and you will feel so special in it on your wedding day.
