The Dress

I am tall at 5”10 plus an inch heel with the shoes I wore. I bought in a size 16 although I was a size 14 - this meant it fitted my shoulders much better with my tall frame. As a result, I did take in the waist to the measurement noted. I loved my dress and hope that someone else will too. I felt very elegant and it was very flattering. The top has netting to give the illusion of a Bardot neckline but with the support ie does not fall down. There are see through sequins all over which caught the light beautifully. The dress has been professionally dry cleaned, however, there is one small tear to one of the netting layers at the bottom from where it must have been stood on, but, due to the number of layers you really have to be looking for it to see it at all. There is a bustle in place - very important for dancing! It was an easy dress to walk and dance in and I felt comfortable all day in it, even with the slight structural bodice. It was the first dress I ever tried on and I never looked back!
